I received this on January 3. Wow, the year just started and we’re reminded to submit our taxes. So efficient.
When I first saw this in my mailbox I was stunned. It’s like the income tax people were just waiting, and waiting, and waiting for the new year to come and BAM! stuff it in my mail box.
Then I started complaining to my wife how efficient they were at collecting income tax, but takes forever to give tax returns. I still haven’t seen my tax returns from two years ago.

Adino: Worse still, I got another letter today asking me to prove some deductions I made in 2004. Now have to go back to my parents house and dig up my old files :angry:
Some people (the not-so-kind ones) are better at doing hurtful things to others than kind things to others, or something like that. So that’s probably what is going on there, sigh.
Adino: I view it as the tax department displaying double standards. Quick to collect money but slow to refund money.
I know I won’t be receiving mine this year because I used the e-filing method last year.
Adino: I heard some bad reviews about the e-filing method last year regarding some security issues. Maybe this year I will give it a try 🙂
I also got my tax reminder from the taxman… Boohoohoo!
Adino: Well, on the bright side we still have three months to fill it up 🙂
