I need your advice!
Many many people have reported to me that they have trouble accessing my blog.
Some of the embarassing comments I received are:
1) Are you hosting your website at your home computer? Why always down?
2) Did your blog get banned by the government?
3) I tried accessing your blog for several weeks, but can’t.
4) You banned me from visiting your blog?
5) Very difficult to access your blog. Always down.
Sometimes it happens to me too, and I have to refresh my browser a few times to get in. I figure it has something to do with DNS, because my web host claims no problems on their side.
I’ve tried using wp-cache plugin which improved things somewhat, but the problem is still there.
Any advice on what else I could try? Any software I can install to troubleshoot this problem?
I hate this problem because I think I’m losing traffic, irritating my readers and getting less ads revenue.
What if one day Google’s spiders can’t access my blog?
In the mean time, I have no choice but to advise my readers to either try again a few minutes later, or sign up to automatically get my posts in their RSS reader or by email.
Should I change web hostess? I have received a few suggestions for new hostess(es?) but I’ve read some bad customer reviews on those sites so I’m not confident to switch.

It’s the place where you host ur site which cause you so much problem. It’s their DNS direct, i would suggest u to go with http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/ which im using now. No problem and very fast ticket support.
Adino: Thanks for the suggestion, I will check out webhostingbuzz!

I’ve been having no problems accessing your blog in singapore. In Malaysia I had plenty of problems. So I think it may be something else causing a problem. My theory is streamyx
Adino: I agree. I do face this problem at home more frequently.

Adino
Your problem seems to happen much less now
I have not encounter any problem for the last 5-6 times
(unlike previously, which is almost 100% failure for 1st try)
Adino: That’s a relief! I thought it happens quite frequent

No problem for me so far…
I prefer to host my blog oversea rather than ‘local’…
Adino: Any web host suggestions?

Hi Adino
Yes, i do have trouble accessing your blog at times.
Sorry can’t help suggesting anything…new to this blogging thing.
p/s that dog in the picture is so cute!
Adino: Thanks!
I guess one of the advantages of hosting your blog on wordpress or blogger means they will handle all of these problems for you!

No problem for me (running Firefox and Safari on macpro). Maybe it’s a template/plugin problem? I received similar complains before I changed to my new template. You can check screenshots on different browsers at http://browsershots.org/
Adino: That’s a really useful tool. Thanks!

It’s occasionally down but not always. I get a “Connecting…” for a few secs, then it breaks and says it can’t load. Refreshing X times won’t help. I just have to check the website at a different hour.
Adino: Hmm… I wonder what the problem is… could it be the web server running out of resources?

Funny… I have no problems whatsoever accessing your blog ever since I started reading…
Adino: Hehe… of course you wouldn’t!

I’ve always had trouble accessing your blog, I think I’ve told you about it before?
Adino: Yup, you’ve told me before. That’s why I’m checking how many others have the same problem. Thanks!
