In Malaysia, bloggers have been sued and arrested based on the comments in their blogs.
Don’t get me wrong. I love hearing your honest opinions. I also accept opinions that do not agree with mine.
But you must understand that I have to be careful.
I write this with reference to Jeff Ooi’s “Think before you leave your commentary“. Perhaps you should consider writing such a policy for your blog too.
The following types of comments will be deleted:
- Anonymous comments
- Contains obscenities, blasphemy, or hinting the same
- Comments that can be interpreted as seditious (causing hate).
- Threats
- Rude comments or personal insults (I don’t like rude visitors. This is my blog)
- Spam
If you write a comment that breaks the law, I will not be responsible for your actions. You will be the one liable to legal action or prosecution.
