It almost happened to me too. When I bought my waja - i got a free astro too. But i didnt utilise it - gave it to my cousin whose father sold the car to me. But a few years later I discovered a account under my name in Putrajaya! I dont know how that happened, but i made a few complains to have that account suspended. Thank God it did not have unpaid subscription. Someone must have taken my free astro used my name and continued using the astro under my name. Unfortunately this is rather common! That is why I get very upset when I see contest winners name and ic displayed big time by stupid companies - some big banks mind u have done this for years. Now I think many have realise something amist and stop publishing the full ic. Keep calling them and pressing them. Reason being is ther will be no investigation unless alot of noise is made. Take for example they say they will investigate my insurance claim for a month. I got frustrated, called the manager in charge and everything was done the next day. They usually won't do their jobs here. Oh and the police, you probably will get nothing done with that unless you have some political connections. In a totally different scenario, someone was in need of an ambulance. Calling the emergency line they requested for RM600 before they will send one. My Father blew and used his connections all the way to the health minister and 6 ambulance arrive for free of charge. I have learnt not to lose my cool in all this but learnt how to make big noises. haha. Stay cool bro. That is a huge problem with companies here. We even boycott music stalls as they monopolize brands and charge ridiculous prices. I got mad so many times until now I don't care la. There are always alternatives. I will refuse to pay.
