I received this cheque in the mail a few days ago.
It was a cheque of RM312.59 from Global Test Market, an online survey company.
How it works:
- Register
- Answer surveys and you will be given points.
- Points vary depending on the survey, but on average it seems to be 40-50 points
- 1000 points = $50 USD, so each survey averages 50 points or $2.50.
- When you reach 1000 points, you can redeem your points for cash.
I signed up in 2009 and cashed out my points at the end of 2011, so it took me 3 years to accumulate about 2000 points.
Payment is by cheque only, so I sent an email to request them to ensure that the cheque name was according to my IC.
At first I was worried that the cheque would be in USD (which required foreign cheque clearance), but as you can see from the photo, they issued a Malaysian cheque from RBS Kuala Lumpur.
If you are interested to join, you can head over to globaltestmarket.com. However, they do have a referral program. If I refer you then I get 20 points (50 cents).

I’m looking forward to collecting my next cheque from them! Currently am hovering around 875 points, so once I reach 1000 points I’ll cash out. It sure does make a nice bonus!
