Last Sunday, I was not blogging as usual because I went to KL to attend my graduation ceremony! I completed my Masters of Computing Degree (MSc) from USQ Australia. The ceremoney was held at Nikko Hotel at Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

We went there early in the morning around 7:30 am so we could skip the queues. After signing in, I went to get my gown and we took some photos. The ceremony itself was quite ok. It wasn’t my first graduation ceremony so it was more of the same. I just wanted it to be over as quickly as possible.

You know, I only have this one nice tie. I wore this tie during my sister’s graduation, and I wore it while taking my wedding photos.

This is a photo I took of daddy while we were having breakfast at the nearby Lotus Restaurant. See KLCC in the background. A nasi lemak and roti canai breakfast for 3 costs RM15. Cut throat prices.

Daddy and me. He’s really proud of me, and I am very grateful to him for supporting me and being there for me. I can’t have completed my master’s degree without him, mummy, Lydia and Poey Chin (my oscar speech).

We secretly took this photo in a corner. Don’t ask me why we were in a corner. It’s just a corner where the lighting was good enough. I’m so in love with her.

I thought my gown looked a bit like a Jedi costume. This is my Sith Lord impression. Poey Chin said I look like a vampire. I hope they don’t withdraw my degree for doing this. I was just too bored while waiting for the ceremony to start.
