I get extremely frustrated, so much so that I could throw myself out of a window. It only happens with my partner Jim who is intrasigent, non compliant and deaf or critical to most if not all of the suggestions I make. When this happens I throw things or slam things (like doors). This is only a recent phenominon but could be something to do with stress. Jim suffers from depression and anxiety and is obsessive about his art so much so that he does not have a life outside of work. For anyone who finds they are in this position the answer is exercise - run out of the damn door and don't look back!!!

I don't handle frustration very well. I tend to become emotional, I cry, and my boyfriend doesnt understand why. Neither do I. When we have a disagreement, and I'm trying to understand what it is, and sometimes he won't let me say what I want to, thats frustrating. All my life I have been an emotional person when I'm Happy sad, angry frustrated I tend to cry. Why? I don't know its just the way I have been all my life and he can't accept that, There is more to it, he tells me. And that in itself is very frustrating

Adino: I don't think there's anything wrong about being emotional. People are made different, so we each have different temperaments. Your boyfriend must learn to listen to you. That's essential for a smooth future together.

Thanks for sharing. I hope you will stick around.

You know what?>
The most frustrating thing in the world is when you are frustrated and you google it and click on first link on how to handle frustration, the website talks about dealing with extreme frustratation all along and in the end asks for money to purchase the book.
The most meanest thing ever. And I am sure the writer of this book and everyone involved have had never to deal with or do anything with frustration cause it they did, they would write something to help the person relax and de-frustrate rather than just asking him point blank to buy their stuff of which they dont have any knowledge.
Just some fakers trying to earn some easy money by robbing people by showing them nothing

Adino: I don't think that's mean.

All I did was I shared on how I dealt with frustration, and at the end I offered links to some books that could help for people who were more interested in the topic.

[...] Recently I’ve had some nasty life experiences. If you see me looking all moody, don’t worry it’s not because of you. It’s because of some difficult people I’ve had to face. So, in true ‘writing therapy’ fashion, here’s a follow up to my previous post on dealing with frustration.
