To be honest, I stay in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam but guess what. I only made there once. Since the place was not in proper management I didn’t interested to go there. I wonder what happen now.

Oh, the name had been change to Taman Botani

Adino: I guess sometimes when we live nearby, we don’t really notice the special places. Like last time I lived near Sunway Lagoon, but only went there once in so many years!

Thanks for the tip about the name change. I’m planning to make another trip there soon to get some updated photos and information about the place.

ohh….actually noneed enter the carlsberg exit persiaran selangor , mean jst turn left the 3rd exit persiaran Tengku ampuan…..then u can meet bulatan melawati…..

Actually in my directions I mentioned using 3rd exit, and not to use Carlsberg exit. Carlsberg will take u to industrial area.

Dear Blogger, I’d like to thank you for the directions to Bukit Cahaya. I actually managed to get there with 65% of your help.

please allow me to correct your directions as there are a few things that u have missed out.

1. After the Batu tiga toll, look out for the 2nd left exit. As you turn in the 2nd left exit, you should see carlsberg on your left.

2.There are actually 3 roundabouts altogether. The first roundabout is not called Bulatan Kayangan. Its called Bulatan Sejahtera. At that Bulatan Sejahtera, you should take 3 O’clock

3. You will shortly come to a big roundabout with traffic lights. It’s called Bulatan Malawati. You should take 12 O’clock. After Bulatan Malawati, you should be able to see Tesco on your Right.

4. The last roundabout is called the Bulatan Kayangan.At that roundabout you should take 12 O’clock. After bulatan Kayangan, follow the road and you should see Concorde hotel on your right.

Your directions are accurate from No.5 onwards

Actually, you turned out too early. You should not turn at Carlsberg (that leads to the industrial area). You should turn at the third turning. If you have the correct roundabout, you will see Tesco immediately at the 3 o’clock turning.

You are right about the roundabout names, though. I will edit my directions.

i’ve been there last week.. it is a trip with my lecturer and my classmates for our assignment in featured writting..
we observed the place it seems abandon in some part of it..
it was a nice and potencial place for an escapism but the pr it self doesn’t published the place well.
the place it self been called in so many named that make people confused about the place status or real name..

but to me it is a kind of place that i will go for an escapism if they up graded the place to be abetter place….

Adino: Yeah, I wish they kept it in better condition. Some of the attractions were closed when we were there. But it’s good enough.

The bicycling was certainly fun, but tiring! Remember to bring the park map if you’re cycling though…

Anyway, I am surprised (shame on me!) that this place is still up and about. Being a skeptic as I am, I always thought all these grand parks will lose its allure after 2 or 3 years due to the lack of proper upkeep in Bolehland. I am proven wrong this time and I admit it.

Adino: Yeah, aiming for #1 for Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam, a lovely family outing destination (for all the good that will do).

Anyway, this place is well maintained. There are even new toilets built and everything. We’ll see what happens in two or three years time hehe.
