made me realise how little time i have nowadays to read other books.. use to be able to read so much more during my school days.. now that i’m on break before i start working, i should really pick up some books to read.. i use to read Enid Blyton too haha.

Adino: If you have the time, make a point to read something every day, but you’re probably sick of reading now from all those medical books!

Heyee, I’d say you’ve done a great grand job on this I agree with you on the local library bane; they have these bargain bin stuff that no one would ever read or buy from a second hand shop. To make things worse, they have silly dress codes like “no T-shirts” and “no short skirts”.. as though any of those impede one’s ability to read.

Amazing to me (I admit it shouldn’t be) that boys equally enjoy the Magic Faraway tree; I thought it was just us girls with our flowery imagination… heheh.

Adino: I didn’t know about the dress codes part

I hope other boys enjoyed the Magic Faraway Tree books too! Otherwise I’d feel so weird!

And who doesn’t like Enid Blyton? My absolute favourite? Why the Enchanted Wood and Magic Faraway Tree series!

I liked the Faraway Tree series too! It had a bit of sci-fi elements in it… come to think of it, it’s something like StarGate

Adino: I think overseas libraries would be much better, but I’m not sure. I haven’t visited our local libraries for a long time.

I seldom read additional books during my secondary study time. Only text books at that time. Haha.. But once I stepped into the working life, I like to read books. Hmm.. not related to working now but more on stories and mind & soul..

I always felt as though I read a lot less than other people. When I’m not at school, I don’t have the library to get books from, but I don’t want to buy them. When I am at school, I can borrow books from the library, but then I don’t have the time to do so with all the schoolwork.

Adino: I find that libraries tend to have a very limited set of books. Most of the libraries I used to visit consisted of bargain bin books or books that were unwanted.
