Dear Adino,

Hah, I say keep the old handphone. As long as it’s usable, why change it? Lower radiation also mah…Me, I haven’t even got my first handphone yet, despite the insistent urgings of friends, colleagues and relatives….

Hehe… And yeah, it’s good to be frugal! I think HP should be changed only once every 5 years (MINIMUM)

hahaah i am using my old 3120 too, been using for more than 3 years but still in good condition.. though my friends keep asking me to change it!

Honestly, i only use those basic functions like calling, receiving, smsing, ringtones, bluetooth.. that’s all.. other features like gprs, mp3.. I dun really want also..

If you got the basic things, i think should be good enough liao.. no need fancy handphones la

Thats my old phone too! And its my wife’s ex-phone which we use by putting Happy in it as a home phone! Anyway.. wait for the iPhone 2.0 if you want to change. Its a good phone anyway – I think its a 6610.
WHO cares if the toilet cleaner has a better phone?
My former receptionist has a better phone than me.. but who has a better pay?
HAHAHA…

nokia phones seem to last kinda long eh? my previous phones were all nokia and they were all so durable.. me being clumsy and dropping it so many times and all.. it still functions.. haha but all the old phones are passed on to my dad or mum now as i get new ones hahah.. all still functioning.

Adino: Actually I think older model phones last longer, probably because they were made with stricter QC. I keep hearing newer phones going dead after one year.

OH my, Adino you must hate me then….I can’t begin to count how many I’ve changed in these two years.

But I have a good reason. My parents or brother’s old phone will die then I will buy a new one and give them my old one. Is that a good reason?

Sigh don’t be so stingy la. I wish I got money to buy for you. Maybe we dutch again for your coming birthday ok? Hhaha, then come up your stairs again!!

Sorry, no cure.
ALL my nurses have much better phone than me.
I only change phone whenever my phone got taken away by snatch thief (rolleyes)

When I walk inside the phone shop, they will intro all the nice canggih phones, and I will say: anything below RM300?

Did you say sticky buttons? I can do without all those fancy features, but sticky-buttons is something I don’t think I can tolerate, though. Still, if you think your phone can still last for a few more years, then it’s OK to stick with it.

is ok…my phone is incredibly older and cheaper. plus, the battery keeps dying on me. that’s how cheapskate i am.

You’re not the only handphone cheapskate… I had to change my hp last year and that was only because my old one didn’t work anymore. I delibrately chose the most basic hp that doesn’t even have colour. No camera, no hi-tech stuff inside …which to me just ain’t necessary. A phone is a phone!
