If you already used the WIRA for 10 years, might as well keep it for posterity. Because it isnt worth selling. Maintenance/parts is cheap and should be an economical car in the long run.

Adino: No, I meant the car model is 10 years old. My car is only about 3 years old. But you’re right about the parts being cheap.

If you have Waja – keep it . can last a while. Unless u are fussy about NCAP crash test – it scores a 3 star. You will lose your knees in a head on collision. Otherwise, it is a good car (without the standard safety features, and I dont mean the disc brakes)

I drove a Proton Satria before – that was my first car. And though it served me well, way past 5 years… I could really tell the difference when I moved to a new car. But hey, never seen that ad before la.

Adino: I’m waiting for the day I get to move to a new car. Problem is… my wife is driving a Proton too, so I got to replace two cars! *gulp*

I saw that add… with you!!! Hahaha!

I have a Savvy! It makes funny noises when I don’t want, and doesn’t when I want it to!
Haha! My alarm sound has disappeared! All it does is flash in silence now. *Haih*
(This happened RIGHT after I sent my car in for servicing).

And there is a crack on my windscreen! I have no idea how it happened. There is no sign of impact…
it just CRACKED! *slaps forehead* Fat chance getting that covered in the warranty.

Adino: Yeah, we saw the ad together! *pointing fingers* Never mind la, a quiet alarm is more scary because it looks like it’s communicating with the alarm company or something. Looks more high tech.

Sigh. Tell me about it. I have a Waja, which I bought last year. For now, it’s still working okay (thank God!), but I know what you mean about lousy service centres etc. Still, foreign cars are now getting cheaper, so for a bit more, you might as well just get a foreign car instead. Our Protons aren’t worth shit.

As for me, sigh, will have to live with my car for a loooong loooong time. Unless I sell it for a pittance.

Adino: Got any squeeks yet? My next car will definitely be a foreign car, even if it means buying second hand.
