To me, celebration of New Year is part of a commercialisation
We definitely could do without it, at least not the way we are celebrating now ie fireworks / pub

pretty much describes how I feel about new year as well.. I was working on new year’s eve and new year’s day and every other day so there’s no difference.. it’s just another day in the calendar.. haha..

but well, wishing you and family happy new year and may this year be a better year! =)

After reading your post, I still wish to wish you, Poey Chin and baby Rachel a Happy and Meaningful New Year

For me the new year is another added day and number to my life, but on the whole, past years are a recollection of events God put in my way to lean on Him when going over the hurdles (just a little lift and over I go, holding on to Him).

P/s I agree with your lawyer friend, pablopabla.

Adino: Thanks! Being thankful of the things that have happened and seeing how we have gone through the problems is a positive way of looking at life that has gone past. A good reminder for how things can be in the future.
