Welcome to Adino Online!
My name is Adino Chang and I write Adino Online to pour the contents of my twisted imagination to the world. It is a personal blog crammed with the funny things that happen to me and my wife.
I blog because I love to write. It is like a form of therapy for me to organize my thoughts and opinions into an article that can be shared with others. I love how I have got to know many wonderful people since I started to blog. It is also a pleasant feeling to know that blogging generates a passive income for me.
I am 29 year old and grew up in Subang Jaya. I’m currently living in Kelana Jaya, Malaysia. Kelana Jaya is just 20 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur. I married Poey Chin (the girl God created for me) in 2007. Poey Chin is talented, very patient with my weird habits and she’s a great cook.
She is a contemporary music graduate majoring in song composition. Her main instrument is the keyboard / piano, but she also plays the saxophone and sings really well *proud*. She spends her time teaching music and being a wonderful mother.
We have a baby girl, Rachel. She was born in May 2008 and she’s going to be tall like her daddy! We love her to bits because she’s so cute. Right now we’re still trying to learn how to be proper parents.
I am a Christian attending DUMC (Damansara Utama Methodist Church) since the middle of 2007. The celebrations on Saturday (5pm) and Sunday (10am) are held at the DUMC Dream Centre in Section 13 PJ.
My wife and I are also part of a Christian band called Painted Picture. We go along with a team of Bible College Malaysia (BCM) students to different churches around Malaysia. There, we lead worship and sometimes provide music training for church worship teams. Our ministry has led us to wonderful places like Penang, JB, Rawang, Kulim, Tanjung Malim and Raub.
We met when she joined the band, we needed a 2nd keyboardist / female vocalist.
I work as a systems analyst/lead database administrator in a mid-sized company in Kuala Lumpur.
I have eight years of experience in the software industry. I have been involved in one major software development life cycle, and personally taken charge of the development and implementation of a web customer information system and a point of sales system.
My areas of speciality are query optimization, code standardization, usability design and documentation. My technical skills include Microsoft SQL Server, PHP, ASP, JavaScript, Java (Hibernate/Struts), Sybase Powerbuilder, and MySQL.
I have a pet, who I call Sushi the Jedi Shih Tzu. He’s a very cute four year old white-and-gold doggy who I absolutely adore and treat like a brother.
